i'm nik, otherwise known as felledoake (in my low-effort music ventures) or foake (more commonly in online games).
i'm a 19-year-old college student, majoring in psychology and trying out a double minor between religious studies
and printmaking.


personally:


i'm a southeast michigander, broadly in the metro detroit area. i've lived here my whole life and have come
to love the surrounding forestry and little rural areas like the apple orchards in armada and the local
party stores (convenience stores) in mt. clemens, and so on. for some unnecessary info:

- my eyes are brown

- i have astigmatism but only occasionally wear glasses

- i like autumn (october - early november)

- i own a stereoscope from 1908 and a cornet from 1948

- i can make a mean ass chicken caesar gyro

- i have vasomotor rhinitis and hay fever (pollen be damned...)

- i am bad at talking to people but i long for friendships

- i am certified in professional business communications through pearson VUE

musically:


i first began my hobby with music like many have before me, in middle school. i started on the trumpet and just kind of went from there.
i joined my high school's marching band as an 8th grade marcher in 2020, only to quit due to complications with covid. i came back in
2021 though where i continued on trumpet. then cool stuff happened and i switched to french horn for concert stuff and mellophone
for marching band stuff (multiple solos + section leader!) and trumpet for jazz stuff, yk yk that's all just the preface for what i do now.

nowadays i'm mostly a string player with some breath instruments and sometimes brass. i started recording on soundcloud but got
fed up with the maximum time limit for the free tier and other restrictions that made things difficult. my main instrument is the bouzouki,
which is like a mandolin but longer and tuned an octave lower. it was pretty easy to learn because my first stringed instrument
was just the mandolin. it translated well. but here's a masterlist of pretty much every instrument i play:

photographically:


i occasionally take photos, but not as often as i did when it was for a class. i own a canon eos 2000d digital camera
and also a couple film cameras, but i haven't gotten my darkroom set up yet as i need to clear space for it
and isolate it from light.

most of my photos are of nature, but the ones that aren't are usually street photography, portraits for friends,
or abstract ghosting-technique images (shutter-speed ghosting).
